Specialty description

This major covers promising directions for the engineering career in the field of computer-aided design of technological processes and production in machine building.

The curriculum provides a profound fundamental training of future engineers in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, theoretical mechanics, strength of materials, as well as in such academic disciplines as technology of machine building and instrument-making, automation of industrial processes in machine building and instrument-making, technology of computer-aided manufacture of parts and assemblies, CAD of technological processes and automation tools for mechanical assembly operations, control and diagnostic systems of artificial intelligence in machine building and instrument-making.

Promising positions for the future career: automation engineers; leading specialists of businesses; heads of production shops, services and departments; heads and leading specialists of scientific institutions; directors of enterprises, organizations and institutions.
