The Faculty of Economics was founded on September 1, 1995. On February 12, 2001, the Faculty opened the correspondence department, and on October 1, 2001 the master's degree course in "Economics and Management of National Economy" was introduced.
The Faculty comprises 6 departments: "Higher Mathematics", "Logistics and production organization", "Marketing and Management", "Finance and Accounting", "Economics", "Economic Informatics". There are 2 doctors and 32 PhD degree holders; about 1,800 students are trained at the Faculty.
The graduates of the Faculty enjoy professional employment in enterprises of different forms of ownership, in the banking sector, and in entrepreneurial activities as well.

"Economics and Production Management (in Mechanical Engineering).
"Organization of Production Resources Use in Engineering". Qualification – engineer economist.

"Accounting, Analysis and Audit in Industry". Qualification - economist.
"Banking"; "Taxes and Taxation"*. Qualification - economist.
"Transport Logistics (automobile transport)". Qualification - engineer economist, logistics specialist.
"Transport Logistics (automobile transport)". Upon graduation students are awarded the academic degree of Master of Economics.
