"Business informatics" is a field of study focused on the realisation of financial, economic, management and international economic activities in enterprises and industrial organizations with the application of information technology.

It covers fundamental and applied knowledge in mathematics, economics, management, information and digital technology.

Graduates can fulfil their career in such areas as management of information and Internet resources, information infrastructure of organizations (enterprises) in various fields, management of resource flows in the digital economy, design of information and analytical systems to support managerial and planning decisions, efficiency assessment and development of projects for improving business processes and IT infrastructure of organizations (enterprises) in various fields, IT infrastructure cost management.

The positions they can hold are as follows: head of advertising and information departments, content manager, information resources manager, head of organization’s infrastructure management department, head of software department, head of database management group, business process regulation specialist, process analyst, lead business analyst, economist.
