Specialty description |
Training of specialists is focused on profound study of measuring equipment, technology of creation and efficient operation of devices and systems, mathematics, physics, computer science, electronics and information theory. Special disciplines cover all types of non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics: acoustic, radiation, thermal, optical, radio wave, electric, magnetic, eddy current testing and penetrant inspection. Main professional activities are concerned with the development and improvement of methods and tools for nondestructive testing, effective operation of measuring devices and systems. Our graduates accomplish the quality control of materials and industrial products during their manufacture, operation and repair, as well as the assessment of residual life of potentially hazardous objects. They are qualified to work in the departments and laboratories of non-destructive testing, technical and quality control departments, environmental control service, metrology departments, medical diagnostic centers and can be employed as engineers specializing in defectoscopy, metrology and quality control; as engineering inspectors; specialists in non-destructive testing; instrumentation engineers. |
