Specialty description |
The course combines two previously independent specialisations: robotics and mechatronics. Mechatronics is a scientific field that deals with the study of complex computer and electrical components on the basis of which innovative systems and machines are designed and built. Robotics is a scientific field that aims to develop and design robots and systems that can replace human labour and automate complex technological processes. Students receive fundamental training in engineering and computer graphics, mathematical control theory, electronic devices of mechatronic and robotics systems, mechatronic module parts, microprocessor technology in mechatronics and robotics, etc. The field of professional activity includes the design, research, production and operation of mechatronic and robotic systems for applications in automated manufacturing, transport, medicine and other fields. Graduates are in demand in design, research and development, operational, organizational and managerial, industrial-technological and service-operational fields of professional activity. The positions they can hold are as follows: engineer, designer, cyberneticist, electronics engineer, robotics engineer, IT specialist, system programmer |
