In accordance with the Agreement on International Cooperation, practical training for students of Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA) was organized at the Belarusian-Russian University on June 04-10.
The 3rd year students majoring in ‘6.040106 - Ecology, Environmental Protection and Balanced Nature Management’ of KNUCA’s Engineering Faculty Veronika Brusnik and Yanina Gramma completed the first technological practical training course at the Belarusian-Russian University. The supervisor of the practical training was Head of the Safety of Living Department A.V. Shchur, the responsible person was Senior Engineer of the Safety of Living Department P.S. Orlovsky.
During the training course the students got acquainted with modern equipment and developments of the University’s scientists. The trainees participated in carrying out field experiments on the scientific topic of the Safety of Living Department, performed selection of plant and soil samples for radiological analyzes and learned how to work on modern scientific equipment in the laboratories of the Department. The students got acquainted with the design and operation of solar collectors and solar cells and calculated their effectiveness.
