BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY TEAM WON 10 MEDALS AT NATIONAL ARM WRESTLING UNIVERSIADE-2021
The combined team of the Belarusian-Russian University took part in the National Arm Wrestling Universiade, which was held at the Belarusian State Technological University from March 10 to 12, 2021.
Twenty-seven teams from Belarusian universities participated in the competition. The Belarusian-Russian University team won the following awards in the individual competition:
- Evgeny Yanchenko (Faculty of Automotive Engineering):1st place for right-arm and 1st place for left-arm in 90 kg weight class;
- Nikita Yelin (Faculty of Engineering and Economics):1st place for right-arm and 2nd place for left-arm in 60 kg weight class;
- Dmitry Stefanenko (Faculty of Automotive Engineering): 1st place for right-arm and 2nd place for left-arm in up to 100 kg weight class;
- Dmitry Ivaniushev (Faculty of Construction): 2nd place for right-arm, 3rd place for left-arm in 70 kg weight class;
- Denis Tarasenko (Faculty of Automotive Engineering): 3rd place for right-arm in 85 kg weight class;
- Aleksey Dorokhov (Faculty of Automotive Engineering): 3rd place for right-arm in over 100 kg weight class.
The team coach is Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports M. L. Budaev.
