BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WON MEDALS AT ALL-BELARUSIAN TRACK AND FIELD RACE DEDICATED TO THE GREAT VICTORY DAY
On May 8, 2021, the All-Belarusian Track and Field Race dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Day of the State Emblem and Flag of Belarus, was held in the Dubrovenka River Park in Mogilev. The running event was attended by the residents of Mogilev region.
Both professional athletes and sports enthusiasts took part in the race. Representatives of various enterprises and organizations, educational institutions of the city ran the 500-meter and the 1,000-meter races.
All the participants were united in one goal – to honor the memory of the people who won the victory at the cost of their lives.
The Belarusian-Russian University was represented by students of different years and faculties. Daniil Maslenkov, a student of the Faculty of Construction, finished second in the 1,000-meter race (3.16) and became the silver medalist. Diana Naumchik, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, won the bronze medal in the women’s 500-meter race (1.43).
The winners received medals and award certificates.
