The Belarusian-Russian University took part in the international competition “Digital Wind-2021”. The students-assistants of the laboratory “Programming” of the Department of Automated Control Systems Ilya Listratenko, Stanislav Shampanov and Sergei Yamshchikov represented the University at the competition. The competition “Digital Wind” is annually held by the Institute of Applied Information Technologies and Communication of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov. The objective of the competition is to draw the attention of schoolchildren and university students to modern information technologies and to develop their practical software skills. The age range of participants is from 7 to 25 years.
“Digital Wind-2021” was held in seven categories. This year the competition featured 4823 projects from two hundred and twenty cities of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Regional contests were held in Saratov, Penza and Lipetsk.
In May 2021, the Scientific and Information Center of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the 20th International Competition of IT projects among children, young people and students “Digital Wind-2021”. Ninety-seven participants from Russia and Belarus reached the finals of the competition.
