Students of the Belarusian Russian University took part in the Olympiad for students of higher educational institutions providing training in road construction
Fifth year students of the Faculty of Construction majoring in ‘Motor Roads’ took part in the 3rd International Olympiad for students of higher educational institutions which provide training in road construction. The Olympiad took place from September 12 to 14, 2018. The event was organized by the Republican Unitary Enterprise Holding Managing Company ‘Belavtodor’. Belarusian universities were represented by teams of full-time forth- and fifth-year students, namely:
- Belarusian-Russian University, Mogilev;
- Belarusian National Technical University, Minsk;
- Belarusian State Technological University, Minsk;
- Belarusian State University of Transport, Gomel;
- Brest State Technical University, Brest;
Besides, several teams of full-time Master’s students from the European Union countries took part in the Olympiad:
- Tadeusz Kościuszko University of Technology, Poland;
- Riga Technical University, Latvia;
- Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania;
- Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia.
The Olympiad was held as a full-time tournament with individual theoretical and team practical ranking. Tasks were available in Russian and English.
All the participants of the Olympiad were awarded certificates of participation.
