The Teacher of the Year 2018 contest was held at the College of Architecture and Construction
The Teacher of the Year 2018 contest was held at the College of Architecture and Construction of the Belarusian-Russian University on May 24-25. Seven young teachers took part in the competition. Each of them performed to the best of their ability in all the stages of the competition and demonstrated high level of professional competence.
The Dean of the Construction Department Olga Vasilievna Golushkova was invited to take part in the competition jury. The contest was made up of the following stages: “Business Card”, computer testing to assess the teachers’ psychological and pedagogical content knowledge, a round table for educational policy makers on the topic ‘Professional Specialist Training and Education’, the pedagogical situation ‘Conflict Resolution Strategies’.
In addition, the contestants presented their portfolio and taught demo lessons in their subjects. Valuable gifts were given to the winners by the National Public Association Belaya Rus.
