Alla Yurievna Vladova, Doctor of Engineering, Professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, delivered an original 20-hour lecture-practical course in English on the topic ‘Decision-Making Based on Game Models Using the R Language’ at the Automated Control Systems Department on September 25-29.
The lectures covered the following issues:
Practical assignments were devoted to creating outcome arrays and their representing in the R language (hop library), representing dynamic games in the form of binary trees (data.tree library) and finding dominant strategies (GPGame library).
During the lectures, the kahoot and Google Forms Internet resources were used, which allowed conducting online-polls of students.
The fourth-year students majoring in 1-53 01 02 ‘Automated Data Processing Systems’ Alina Kildiushkina, Pavel Kuntsevich, Anastasiya Shugovskaya, Denis Shubin, Pavel Khotamtsov, Maksim Troshin, Vladislav Pavlenko, Vladislav Milto, Nikita Dragut, Vladislav Barkov, who successfully completed the course, were given certificates.
