This year Nadezhda Budnik from the town of Cherven was enrolled at the Belarusian Russian University on the course ‘Transport Logistics’. In the entrance tests, Nadezhda got 356 out of a total of 400 possible points. This is the highest score among applicants of the Belarusian Russian University this year.
We asked Nadezhda how she had managed to achieve such results and why she had chosen our University.
-Why have you chosen the Belarusian Russian University?
-At first I wanted to enter the Belarusian State Economic University in Minsk on the specialty ‘Logistics’, but the passing score was increased, so I began to think about something else. I loved the Belarusian Russian University, and it turned out that a friend of mine was doing here just the same course I wanted to be enrolled on. He told me that he liked the University very much, which convinced me to apply exactly to this institution.
-What do you like about your course?
-I got interested in Transport Logistics when I was a 10-th grader at school. I think this specialty is very prestigious. Moreover, at present this direction is rapidly developing, and I would like to challenge myself.
-How did you achieve such great results in entrance tests?
-At school I had intensive mathematics and the Russian language instruction. In addition, I attended extra classes on Saturdays. I had a lot of practice doing tests and took mock tests, which helped me a lot. I did not expect to get a high score; the scores of the mock tests had been much lower.
-Do you have any hobbies?
-I enjoy dancing and singing. Now I am paying a lot of attention to my studies, but after the winter exams I would like to start participating in these activities at the University.
-Do you enjoy studying here?
-At the beginning of the academic year it was a bit difficult: new teachers, subjects, environment, the city. I had to get used to all these things, but now I can definitely say that I love studying here, and I do not regret entering this University.
