Congratulations to the winners of the National Arm Wrestling Competition
The representative team of Mogilev region took second place (the men’s team - first place, the women’s team - second place) in the National Arm Wrestling Competition held in the city of Gomel from November 2 to November 3, 2018. The athletes of our university participated in the event as the team members.
In the individual competition our athletes took the following places:
- Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Mikhail Leonidovich Budaev - first place (weight category over 100kg);
- Pavel Smirnov - second place (weight category over 65 kg);
- Daniil Krutenkov - second place (weight category over 100 kg);
- Daria Lavrinenko - second place (weight category over 70 kg);
- Svetlana Borovikova - second place (weight category over 60 kg).
The team coaches are V.S. Poprotsky, M.L. Budaev.
