Representatives of M.N. Mikheev Institute of Metal Physics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Ekaterinburg) delivered lectures for students of the Belarusian-Russian University
The representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladimir Nikolayevich KOSTIN, Ph.D. in Engineering, Deputy Director for Research, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Nondestructive Testing, and Vladimir Ivanovich PUDOV, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Head of the Laboratory of Thermomagnetic Processing, delivered lectures for the students majoring in ‘Methods and Devices for Quality Control and Objects Condition Diagnostics’ and ‘Biotechnical Systems and Technologies’.
The topics of the lectures:
- Development of ferroprobe, eddy current and other induction methods in relation to high-precision measuring and diagnostic systems, including for research, exploratory, industrial and medical purposes.
- The results of research in the field of magnetic and pyroelectromagnetic nondestructive testing, flaw measurement of ferromagnetic products and welded joints in constant, variable and pulsed magnetic fields.
- New technologies for processing soft magnetic materials using high-energy impact.
