Belarusian-Russian University team won the Grand Prix of the International Advertising Festival ‘RADiUS’
Our students covered a distance of 2,600 kilometers, changed four trains and spent six sleepless nights and but it was worth it!
The International Advertising Festival ‘RADiUS’ was held in Saratov from 14 to 16 November 2018. The organizer of the Festival was the Department of Media Communications of the School of Applied Information Technology and Communication of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Youth Resource Center.
The Festival was attended by 17 student teams from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. The students and guests of the Festival attended master classes and open lectures on current trends, branding, creating attractive images, etc. held by practitioners in the field of advertising and public relations and design. The Festival program included three stages:
- Business card: creating a video about a hometown, a university and team members.
- Homework: development of social advertising materials on the topic ‘Online Security: A Culture of Using Gadgets in an Urban Environment’.
- Creative campus: creating an advertising brief for a large regional manufacturer of meat products.
According to the results of three rounds, the team of the Belarusian-Russian University ‘Alliance BRU’ won the Grand Prix of the Festival! The winning team was composed of the following students:
- Vyrvich Anna - MA-151 group, the Faculty of Economics;
- Skripnik Aleksei - MagIMR-181 group, the Faculty of Engineering and Economics;
- Shablinsky Ilya - MagIMR-181 group, the Faculty of Engineering and Economics.
The tutor of the team was Liubov Anatolievna Klimova, a senior teacher of the Marketing and Management Department.
