Lectures on the topic ‘Fundamentals of Fuzzy Analysis and Modeling of Complex Systems and Processes’
Vadim Vladimirovich Borisov, Doctor of Engineering, Professor of the Computing Technology Department of the branch of the National Research University ‘Moscow Power Engineering Institute’ in Smolensk (the Russian Federation) delivered lectures at the invitation of the Automated Control Systems Department (headed by Doctor of Engineering Anatoly Ivanovich Yakimov) from November 21 to 23. The students majoring in 09.03.01 Informatics and Computer Science, 09.03.04 Software Engineering, 1–53.01.02 Automated Systems for Information Processing attended the lectures on the topic ‘Fundamentals of Fuzzy Analysis and Modeling of Complex Systems and Processes’.
The topics of the lectures covered some issues of interest to specialists in the field of design and use of automated systems of information processing and control, namely:
- Modern directions of research in the field of creation and application of intellectual methods, models and technologies.
- Fundamentals of the theory of fuzzy sets, relations, fuzzy inference.
- Fuzzy models of complex systems and processes: areas of application, classification, fundamentals of construction and application.
- Hybridization of intellectual methods, models and technologies based on the principle of soft computing.
