The 10th Eurasian Scientific Forum ‘The Great Eurasian Partnership: Past, Present, Future’ was held on November 22-23, 2018 in St. Petersburg. The Belarusian-Russian University was represented at the forum by Head of the Department of Economics and Management, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Irina Viktorovna Ivanovskaya. The Forum was organized with the participation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the University of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community, the Russian-Chinese Association for Research and Development of the Strategy ‘One Belt - One Way’.
The event was attended by representatives of science, education, government, civil society, business, culture from Russia, China, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.
The forum began with a plenary session ‘Strategy for the Formation of a Sustainable Multi-Polar World Order Based on Partnership of Civilizations and Interconnection of the Eurasian Economic Union and the One Belt - One Way Initiative’ dedicated to creation of a single scientific, educational and economic space. The session was opened by the advisor to the president, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Glazyev who made a report on proposals for practical implementation of the idea of the Great Eurasian Partnership. In addition, round tables, panel discussions and a scientific symposium were held. The participants of these events discussed the evolution of Eurasian economic integration, interaction between government and business, etc.
Irina Viktorovna Ivanovskaya took part in the round table ‘Higher Education as a Resource of Eurasian Integration: Experience, Achievements, Innovations’ and the scientific symposium ‘Theoretical and Ideological Justifications for the Formation of the Greater Eurasian Partnership’.
