The Belarusian-Russian University and the Non-Governmental Society ‘Naslediye’ has strong scientific and cultural ties with Novosibirsk State Technical University and Novosibirsk Center of Belarusian Culture. At the end of November 2017, documents on the creation of the International Russian-Belarusian Center for Interregional Cooperation in the Field of Education, Science and Culture were signed. The Center’s activities include providing the citizens of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation with information about the history, culture, traditions of the nations, their achievements in the field of economics, science, culture and sports; development and implementation of projects aimed at promoting the culture of the Belarusian and Russian peoples; interaction with associations of compatriots abroad and their support.
V.V. Panezha, a senior lecturer of the Humanities Department of the Belarusian Russian University, held a workshop on the topic ‘Belarusian Speech Culture in the Context of State Bilingualism’ for representatives of Belarusian non-governmental associations and art groups, for students of the Faculty of Philology at Novosibirsk State Technical University and Novosibirsk Center of Belarusian Culture on October 20-22, 2018.
