As part of the working visit of the delegation of the Novosibirsk oblast headed by the Governor A.A. Travnikov to the Republic of Belarus, Rector of Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU), Doctor of Engineering, Professor Anatoly Andreyevich Bataev visited the Belarusian-Russian University on January 21.
The Belarusian-Russian University and Novosibirsk State Technical University are the founders of the International Russian-Belarusian Center for Interregional Cooperation in the field of science, education and culture. The Universities have been enjoying fruitful cooperation over the past few years. Professional development training courses for teachers have been arranged; students have been invited to participate in summer schools, scientific conferences, creativity competitions and other events.
Some prospects for the development of the Center and further cooperation were discussed at the meeting with the administration of the Belarusian-Russian University. Preliminary agreements on holding joint scientific, educational and cultural events were reached.
Anatoly Andreyevich got acquainted with directions of research and activities of the leading scientific laboratories and centers of the Belarusian-Russian University. The Rector of Novosibirsk State Technical University visited the Social and Cultural Non-Governmental Association ‘Naslediye’, which carries out its activities at the Belarusian-Russian University.
Rectors A.A. Batayev and M.E. Lustenkov in the HAAS training center
