WORKSHOP ON MODERN FINISHING MATERIALS FOR BUILDING ENVELOPES
The problem solving training workshop on modern finishing materials for building envelopes was held at the branch of the Department of Industrial and Civil Construction hosted by the OAO Mogilevgrazhdanproekt Institute on February 12.
During the workshop, the use of facing and finishing materials was discussed; the participants were informed about some technical innovations that had already been implemented as well as about advanced developments. In addition, some problems of durability and frost resistance of innovative finishing materials and materials currently used in construction were highlighted.
Members of the department and its branch discussed the interaction of the system ‘customer-designer-contractor-manufacturer’ taking into account requirements of the modern market, touched upon existing problems and exchanged views on the issues under consideration.
