A workshop for education methods specialists and teachers of additional education institutions ‘Improving Pedagogical Skills in Environmental and Biological Activities’ was held on February 20 at the Department of Environmental Education of the State Institution of Supplementary Education ‘Regional Center for Creativity’.
Some innovative directions of pedagogical and research activities and the improvement of pedagogical skills of teachers taking into account modern models of the educational process and competency-based approach were presented in the paper. Various aspects of the ecologisation of the educational process based on modern approaches to the formation of environmental imperatives in students were considered.
