The worldwide educational action Total Dictation was held on April 13 in Mogilev.
Traditionally, the city site of the Total Dictation was organized at the Belarusian-Russian University. Residents of the city aged 12 to 70 years were able to test their knowledge of the Russian language and at the same time have fun and spend their free time in a useful way.
In 2019, residents of 1,100 cities in 80 countries took part in the event. The Mogilev platform was included in the ‘West’ area and united participants from Grozny to London.
The role of the ‘dictator’ (reader) of the dictation on the Mogilev platform was performed by Natalia Glushkova, an actress, the author and the presenter of the programs of the TV and Radio Company Mogilev ‘Just morning’ and ‘Why?’.
All participants of the dictation received Berlingo pens, and the youngest and most experienced participants were given special gifts.
The Mogilev platform of the Total Dictation has been organized by the Belarusian-Russian University, the Social and Cultural Public Association ‘Naslediye’ (‘Heritage’), the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus, Radio Mogilev and Mogilev City Television Channel 2.
