BELARUSIAN-RUISSIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TOOK PART IN THE REPUBLICAN UNIVERSIADE IN THE SUMMER SPORTS ‘HEALTH’
The Republican Universiade in the summer sports ‘Health’ of the State Sports and Recreation Complex of the Republic of Belarus was held at the Belarusian-Russian University, Mogilev, from April 16 to April 19, 2019. The competition was attended by teams from 18 higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
The team of the Belarusian-Russian University took first team place ahead of the teams of Vitebsk State Technological University and Belarusian State University of Physical Culture.
In the individual classification, the student of the Faculty of Construction, PGS-161 group, Dmitry Bogomolov took first place; the student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Stanislav Verakso took second place. The best results in individual sports were achieved by:
- the student of the Faculty of Economics, TL-181 group, Anna Stabltskaya (with a score of 43) and the student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, TM-151 group, Nikita Sudnikov (with a score of 44) in air rifle shooting;
- the student of the Faculty of Economics, TL-161 group, Diana Naumchik (88 push-ups) and the student of the Faculty of Construction, PGS-161 group, Dmitry Bogomolov (36 pull-ups on a high bar) in power gymnastics.
