Students of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics and the Faculty of Economics of the Belarusian-Russian University took part in the youth foresight project ‘Design Futures Workshop: Foresight Technologies and Books by A. Azimov”. The event took place on April 12 at Smolensk State University.
The students tried to predict how new technologies would change our life in 30–50 years. Young intellectuals not only discussed and assessed probabilities and risks of negative effects of technocracy, but also proposed options for appropriate participation of robots in some areas of human life in the future. Impressive projects with a set of probabilities, opportunities and multi-alternative images of the future were presented.
