CONGRATULATION TO THE PRIZE WINNERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL INTER-UNIVERSITY SAMBO TOURNAMENT
The International Inter-University Sambo Tournament dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from Nazi invaders, was held from May 16 to May 18 at the Belarusian-Russian University. Fifty-nine athletes of educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation took part in the competition: the Belarusian-Russian University, Mogilev State University of Food Technologies, Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University, Mogilev Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Belarus State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank, P. O. Sukhoi Gomel State Technical University, Baranovichi State University, the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Smolensk State University and Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod.
The national team of the Russian Federation was represented by highly qualified athletes (Candidates for Master of Sport, Masters of Sport), who won a number of prizes.
In the team competition among the states, the Russian national team beat the national team of the Republic of Belarus 6-4.
Students-athletes of the Belarusian-Russian University team performed well in the competition and won the following prizes: 1st places - Sagan K., Shinkevich O., Novikov I.; 2nd places - Samets S., Bachilo V., Pirozhnik I., Volkov K., Budkevich V., Burko Yu .; 3rd places - Zabrodskaya K., Beliayeva L., Ziabsky E., Murashko P., Mukhyev K., Goncharov M., Andreikovets Ya.
