According to Decree No. 1017-p of May 22, 2019 signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D. A. Medvedev, the new composition of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia (139 members) and the composition of the Presidium of the Commission (84 members) were approved.
Rector of the Belarusian-Russian University, Doctor of Engineering Professor M.E. Lustenkov became member of the Russian Higher Attestation Commission. This event has been aimed at bringing together the systems of state scientific attestation of the two countries and enhancing the reputation of the Belarusian-Russian University at the inter-state level. The Higher Attestation Commission is a collegial body that determines the state policy and the strategy for the development of the system of attestation of highly qualified scientists in Russia. The Belarusian member has the opportunity not only to promptly receive important information on these issues, but also to directly participate in decision-making. We hope that the exchange of experience with Russian colleagues and development of common approaches to assessing the quality of dissertation research will contribute to the development of the university system of training staff with high scientific qualification.
