Belarusian Education Days in Russia were held on May 29-30, 2019 in the Business and Cultural Complex of the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow.
The two-day forum was attended by heads of Belarusian and Russian universities, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, more than 40 representatives of educational institutions of Russian regions, over 20 representatives of Belarusian higher education institutions, as well as by representatives of the diplomatic corps and embassies accredited to Moscow (according to BelTA materials).
The delegation of the Belarusian-Russian University was represented by Rector M.E. Lustenkov, Vice-Rector for Extracurricular Activities A.V. Kazansky, Deputy Vice Rector for Research, Head of the Research Department V.N. Usik and the senior lecturer of the Department of Humanities V.V. Panezha.
Agreements on export of scientific and technical products with the Scientific and Technical Center VNIIMP-OPTIMED-1 (Moscow, Russian Federation), an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation and an agreement on export of scientific and technical products with OMTECH Stock Company for a total of over 1 million Russian rubles were signed.
Moreover, the Belarusian-Russian University and the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of education and science.
The Belarusian-Russian University delegation took part in the exhibition-presentation of achievements of the Belarusian education system. Negotiations with representatives of embassies, ministries and departments and foreign organizations on issues of development of educational, scientific and humanitarian cooperation were held. Besides, V.V. Panezha gave a presentation at the International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Russian and Belarusian languages in the Context of Globalization’.
