WINNER OF FRESHERS COMPETITION ANNOUNCED AT BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY
A Health Day for the first-year students was held at the Belarusian-Russian University on September 29. As part of the event, a sporting competition was organized by the students’ union committee of the Belarusian-Russian University. Teams of 10 people from each faculty and a support group participated in the event. In order to win, the participants of the competition had to demonstrate their physical skills and talents, determination, enthusiasm and inventiveness. The girls showed their ‘homework’, homemade cakes, and the panel of judges chose the best one.
The team of the Faculty of Construction was composed of the following students: D. Anisimov, V. Atrashenko, B. Baranov, A. Golushkov, D. Zdyr, K. Krotov, K. Nalivaiko, I. Soloviov, P. Tuminskaya. The competition included the following contests: a standing long jump, a skipping rope, pull-ups, a relay race, an imitation contest ‘Swamp’. During the competition the support group members M. Yakubovich, A. Buiko, K. Shesterneva drew a poster. The team of the Faculty of Construction performed well and became the winner according to the results of all contests. Our freshers were awarded the cup and the 1st place certificate. Besides, they received a sweet prize - a cake. The Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Construction congratulates the students on their victory and wishes them success in their future endeavors.
