The International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Machine Building and Metalworking’ took place at the Belarusian-Russian University on October 10, 2019.
The Conference was organized by the Institute of Metal Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Administration of ‘Mogilev’ Free Economic Zone and the Belarusian-Russian University. The Conference was devoted to promising technologies of machine building, mechanization and automation of production processes, metalworking equipment and tooling.
The following special guests attended the Conference: Leonid Konstantinovich Zayats, Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee; Mikhail Ivanovich Rusy, Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus, inspector for Mogilev Oblast; Alexander Gennadievich Shumilin, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus; Valery Valerievich Baranovsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Lithuania, Mr. Benjamin Englert, a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in the Republic of Belarus.
Leonid Konstantinovich Zayats, Mikhail Ivanovich Rusy and Alexander Gennadievich Shumilin welcomed the participants of the Conference.
Delegations from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Poland, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Austria, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Latvia, the People’s Republic of China, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of India, Japan, etc., took part in the Conference.

During the Conference, an exhibition and presentations of products of Belarusian and foreign companies, as well as research and development projects of the Belarusian-Russian University and the Institute of Metal Technology, were organized.
