VICE-RECTOR FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS OF BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY TOOK PART IN THE FIRST FORUM OF THE ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITIES OF BELARUS AND RUSSIA
On October 10, 2019 Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs N.V. Vologina took part in the First Forum of the Association of Universities of Belarus and Russia, which was held at Lomonosov Moscow State University. More than 20 heads of leading higher education institutions of the two countries gathered in Moscow.
Academician Viktor Sadovnichy, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, delivered a speech welcoming the Forum participants. The decision to set up this Association was made in July 2019 at the 6th Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus in St. Petersburg.
The official theme of the First Forum of the Association was ‘Science and Education in the Context of Great Challenges of the Modern World’. The participants of the Forum discussed a number of issues of the present and future Russia-Belarus cooperation in the field of education, science and culture.
