The Non-Destructive Testing Training Center of the Department of Physical Control Methods provides personnel training for European certification in magnetic, ultrasonic and visual optical methods of non-destructive testing and offers professional development programs for healthcare and industry professionals in radiation safety and radiation control.
The Training Center has been recognized by the Professional Competence Certification Body of the Education Institution ‘Belarusian State Institute of Professional Development and Retraining in Standardization, Metrology and Quality Management’ as a certification training provider in accordance with STB ISO 9712-2016. In 2013, the Training Center underwent European accreditation and was recognized by the Welding Research institute – Industrial Institute of the Slovak Republic (VÚZ – PI SR) (Bratislava) as a provider of training for personnel certification in accordance with the European requirements of EN ISO 9712 and Directive 2014/68/EU. On October 22, 2019, the Training Center successfully passed an external audit. The Belarusian-Russian University received the certificate with an extended scope of accreditation valid until the end of 2021.
