Vadim Vladimirovich Borisov, Doctor of Engineering, Professor of the branch of the National Research University ‘Moscow Power Engineering Insti-tute’ in Smolensk, delivered a course entitled ‘Intelligent Techniques and Mod-els for Analysis of Complex Systems and Processes’ for faculty members and students of the Belarusian-Russian University at the Department of Automated Control Systems from November 21 to 23.
The lectures covered some issues of analysis of contemporary intelligent techniques, models and technologies for research and simulation of complex systems and processes occurring in them. Particular attention was paid to fuzzy neural network techniques and models as well as to evolutionary model-ing. The training course provided participants with skills needed to effectively use intelligent applications in Matlab environment (Fuzzy Logic Designer, Neu-ro-Fuzzy Designer).
Certificates were given to the following participants who successfully completed the course delivered by Professor V. V. Borisov: the students Piotr Lapatinsky, Andrei Soloviov, Ilya Shenderov, Vadim Shut, Anastasiya Stoma, Anna Stoma, Pavel Pontapliov, Dmitry Chernov, Artiom Svintitsky and Asso-ciate Professor V. A.
