On November 21, a multidisciplinary educational and experimental laboratory created as part of the Union State project ‘Development of the Educational and Research Activities of the Belarusian-Russian University Based on Innovative Technologies’ was opened at the Belarusian-Russian University.
Professor Mikhail Evgenievich Lustenkov, Rector of the Belarusian-Russian University, Doctor of Engineering, Nadezhda Vasilievna Kalinina, Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Leonid Gennadievich Makurov, Deputy Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus, took part in an official ribbon cutting ceremony.
The state-of-the-art equipment installed in the multidisciplinary educational and experimental laboratory will provide an innovative learning environment for engineering students.
The laboratory has been equipped with a CNC copy - piercing EDM machine model D7135ZNC, a CNC gear grinding machine model SMG405GF3, a CK6140 CNC lathe manufactured by FANUC, a wire-cut EDM machine model DK7725, a gear hobbing semiautomatic machine BCH-332CNC2 and a profile surface grinding machine Orsha -60150.
During the launch ceremony fourth-year students majoring in Machine Building Technology showed the guests the facilities in action.
