BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY RECEIVED A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE OF THE SECOND CATEGORY FOR INSPECTION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES
This document allows the university to carry out inspection of objects of economic and (or) social significance, such as industrial, agricultural, housing and civil facilities and communications.
Inspection of buildings and structures is performed by a team of members of the Department of Industrial and Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Construction headed by Ivan Lukianovich Opanasiuk, PhD in Engineering, associate professor. The Department of Industrial and Civil Engineering possesses unique and expensive equipment which is used for this purpose: an ‘ASIS’ automated testing system for a comprehensive laboratory study of soil properties, a thermal imager, a ground penetrating radar, non-destructive testing equipment. Structural analysis is performed using the most advanced software products (Robot, Lira). The solutions are presented as visual reports with component drawing.
