A ceremony to bestow Doctor of Sciences diplomas and professor certificates took place in the Independence Palace on January 23, 2020.
During the meeting with Belarusian scientists ahead of Belarusian Science Day, the Head of State presented the Doctor of Sciences diplomas and professor certificates to scientists and academic researchers.
“They say that many discoveries in science are made by chance, but not by random people. There are years of dedicated hard work behind each of your results. I often say that the hardest work that mankind has known is the work of a scientist. Only the most talented, persistent and purposeful people understand the scientific truth,” Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
During the ceremony, a professor certificate was presented to Viktor Mikhailovich Pashkevich, Vice Rector for Research of the Belarusian-Russian University, Doctor of Engineering. We congratulate Viktor Mikhailovich on this excellent achievement and wish him all the best in his future endeavors!
