BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY OFFERS A NEW UNDEGRADUATE PROGRAM IN FOREIGN AREA STUDIES
For the first time in its history the Belarusian-Russian University launches a new undergraduate program for specialists in the humanities and social sciences!
Starting from 2020-2021 academic year, the Belarusian-Russian University offers an undergraduate program in Foreign Area Studies (European Studies Concentration). The graduates will receive a diploma of the state format of the Russian Federation. Today, the educational program in Foreign Area Studies is one of the most popular fields of studies in the Russian Federation. An equivalent educational program offered by the universities of the Republic of Belarus is called Languages and Country Studies.
This program involves a comprehensive study of domestic and foreign political phenomena and processes in European countries, the social, economic, cultural and historical foundations of Europe, as well as an in-depth study of two foreign (European) languages.
A wide variety of employment opportunities are available to Foreign Area Studies graduates, including jobs in international organizations of various levels and character; government departments, central and regional bodies of state power and administration; Belarusian/Russian business structures; non-profit and public organizations supporting international relations or engaged in international activities.
