The students of the Belarusian-Russian University Vladimir Ushkov and Elena Baturo took part in the project of a new format - the Youth Train “# Belarus. Youth. Inspiration”.
The project participants are young people from each region and the city of Minsk who are actively involved in the sports, cultural, scientific or volunteer movement.
From July 17 to 25, the project participants proceeded along the route Vitebsk - Shklov - Mogilev - Gomel - Pinsk - Brest - Grodno - Molodechno - Minsk. In each city or town, the participants of the Youth Train had meetings with the authorities of the regions, famous people, representatives of ministries and administrative departments. During the meetings, the project participants had the opportunity to discuss various issues of regional development, propose innovative projects and ask questions regarding the implementation of the state youth policy of the Republic of Belarus. The young people visited remarkable places of our country, educational and cultural institutions, industrial enterprises, including the OJSC Belarusian Steel Works.
It has been the first project of this format in the Republic of Belarus. During the dialogue between the participants of the Youth Train and the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Igor V. Karpenko, it was decided to periodically hold such an event, which not only unites young people but also provides an excellent opportunity to learn a lot of new and interesting things about our country.
