The closing ceremony of the 4th National competition of professional skills “WorldSkills Belarus 2020” took place in Minsk on September 18. The Belarusian-Russian University team was represented in four competencies, and in three of them – “Mechatronics”, “Geodesy”, “Network and System Administration” – our students took prizes.
The student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Aleksandr Barygin took 2nd place in the competence “Network and System Administration” (coach – Vladimir T. Sadovsky; expert – Nikita P. Skrylev).
The students of the Faculty of Construction Vladimir Fedorov and Viktor Shapovalov took 3rd place in the competence “Geodesy” (expert – Nikolai V. Kurochkin).
The students of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics Vladislav Sharapov and Ivan Bobrov took 3rd place in the competence “Mechatronics” (expert – Sergei G. Cherniakov).
The “Mobile Robotics” team represented by the students of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics Pavel Flanchev and Timofei Avchinnikov (expert - Yegor Yuryevich Demidenko) demonstrated excellent performance as well.
