MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATED At BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY
An event dedicated to Mother's Day was held in the entrance hall of the main building of the Belarusian-Russian University on October 14, 2020. The event was organized by the Department for Young People's Extracurricular Activities, the Office for Pedagogical Support and Development of Creative Initiatives, the Trade Union Committee of the university staff and students, the volunteer club “From Heart to Heart.”
During the event, Eduard Kapelko and Ilya Borokhov, members of the ‘Apelsin’ Theater Group, recited pieces of classic Russian poetry dedicated to women. Everyone could take part in the mini-initiative “Let’s Congratulate Mom Together” and write a beautiful message on a beautiful greeting card to a dear and beloved person - their mom. It was possible to capture the pleasant moments in a specially designed photo zone and enjoy pleasant music and a video presentation.
