An open day was held at the Belarusian-Russian University on October 31, 2020.
About 200 final-year students of secondary schools, lyceums, gymnasiums, colleges of Mogilev and Mogilev region took part in the career guidance event.
The students were invited to participate in the quiz “What I know about Belarusian-Russian University” and the quick test “Winnie the Pooh and Friends”. The winners of the contests received prizes. The visitors had the opportunity to have their photo taken in a special photo zone.
During the meeting between prospective students and the University administration, the deans of the faculties presented educational opportunities of the Belarusian-Russian University including 20 majors under the educational programs of the Republic of Belarus and 11 majors under the educational programs of the Russian Federation.
Representatives of the Admissions Committee focused on the application process and criteria for admission to the university and presented new majors: “Innovative Construction Machinery” under the educational program of the Republic of Belarus, “Applied Mathematics” with the specialization “Software Development” and “Management” with the specialization “Business Management” under the educational programs of the Russian Federation.
After the official part, the students were invited to attend mini-lectures and excursions to the laboratories of the university.
The visitors of the event were able to explore fields of study and courses offered by the University and find out more about areas and majors they were interested in.
