YOUTH STUDENT FORUM “THE FUTURE IS OURS” HELD AT BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY
The Youth Student Forum “The Future is Ours” was held at the Belarusian-Russian University on October 29-31, 2020. The event was attended by secretaries and deputy secretaries of primary organizations of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) of higher educational institutions of the country - about 60 people in total.
The event started with the dialogue “WE are Belarus!” with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee Valery A. Malashko, Vice Rector for Extracurricular Activities of the Belarusian-Russian University Andrei V. Kazansky and BRSM Central Committee Secretary Yulia V. Zinkevich.
- The modern world is the world of communications. The way we present information affects the way people understand us. Therefore, it is important to teach our young people to express their point of view correctly and appropriately, - said Vice Rector for Extracurricular Activities of the Belarusian-Russian University Andrei V. Kazansky. Youth leaders should be able to think, speak and communicate their ideas effectively and clearly. And the Forum provides an opportunity to acquire these skills, which can benefit them in their everyday life.
The Forum program was rich and informative. It included masterclasses on public speaking, interacting with the audience, performing on stage, creative PR, interacting with the media, creating and promoting a personal blog and modeling projects. In addition, the participants had the opportunity to take a sightseeing tour of Mogilev.
