BELARUSIAN-RUSSIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENT BECAME YOUTH AMBASSADOR FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL “CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION”
Vladislav Tkhorev, a student of the Belarusian–Russian University, has won the contest “Youth Ambassador for Sustainable Development Goal” and received the status of an Ambassador for Sustainable Development Goal “Clean Water and Sanitation”.
Students of all universities of the Republic of Belarus competed for this title. According to the results of the project contest, which was held online on November 26, the jury selected 17 Youth Ambassadors. The Belarusian-Russian University was represented by Vladislav Tkhorev, a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. His project was aimed at achieving Goal 6 “Clean Water and Sanitation”. The project focused on measures that should be taken to reduce the amount of waste produced and pollution of groundwater and nearby water bodies.
The Youth Ambassadors Awards Ceremony was held as part of the Third International Symposium “Education for Sustainable Development for All Generations – Social Agreement” at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tank.
