On December 14, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Elena Druzhinina, Director of the Department of State Youth Policy and Social Projects in the field of Higher Education of the Russian Federation Denis Ashirov and Head of the Main Department for Vocational Education at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Kasperovich visited the Belarusian-Russian University.
Rector of the University Mikhail Lustenkov met with the guests at the International Russian-Belarusian Center for Interregional Cooperation in the field of Education, Science and Culture and gave an overview of the history of the university and its activities at the current stage of development. The guests were invited to visit the exhibition of the university’s scientific, creative and sporting achievements and got acquainted with international and volunteering activities.
In the University’s academic and laboratory building No. 7, the delegation visited the multidisciplinary training and experimental laboratories that had been opened as part of the implementation of the Union State project. Elena Druzhinina held a meeting with the university’s student activists, where they discussed the prospects of participation of young people in strengthening friendly relations among the member states of the Union State.
At the end of the visit, Elena Druzhinina signed the university’s Honorary Guests Book.
