RESULTS OF NATIONAL ARMWRESTLING COMPETITIONS AMONG MEN AND WOMEN FOR BELARUSIAN ARMWRESTLING FEDERATION CUP
On December 4-5, the Belarusian-Russian University hosted the National Armwrestling Competitions among men and women for the Cup of the Belarusian Armwrestling Federation. More than 80 people from all over the country took part in the competition.
Athletes of the Belarusian-Russian University’s team took the following places:
Men:
1st place
Mikhail L. Budaev (up to 100 kg weight class), Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports;
Nikita Yelin (60 kg weight class), student of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics;
Dmitry Ivaniushev (up to 75 kg weight class), student of the Faculty of Construction;2nd place
Yuri Biriukov (60 kg weight class), student of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering;
Dmitry Stefanenko (up to 100 kg weight class), student of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering;3rd place
Maksim Dudarenko (60 kg weight class), student of the Faculty of Automotive Engineering.
Women:
1st place
Viktoria Tretiakova (up to 50 kg weight class), student of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics;2nd place
Diana Kholodova (up to 65 kg weight class), student of the Faculty of Economics;3rd place
Alesia Pliusnina (up to 70 kg weight class), student of the Faculty of Economics.
The Belarusian-Russian University ranking in the overall team competition is as follows:
- 1st place among men’s sports teams of the Republic of Belarus and of the Mogilev region;
- 2nd place among women’s sports teams of Mogilev region and among men’s and women’s sports teams of the Mogilev region.
